When you visit Gateway you will quickly discover that we love people. Our vision is, “Passion for God; Compassion for People” We love God with all of our hearts and our services reflect that in both worship and ministry of the Word. Our love for People is demonstrated by the love we show you as you come in and join us in our weekly services. Our goal is to share the hope that Jesus gives us when we turn our lives over to Him. At Gateway, you will have opportunities to share our vision and we can’t wait to have you with us.
We glorify God in all things.
We gather together because people matter.
We grow by following Jesus daily.
We give to serve others.
We go with the message of Jesus everywhere.
Gateway is about God and people. Before we begin, a casual friendly atmosphere is encouraged and free coffee is available at our Coffee Kiosk Cart in the main gathering room. Our worship gathering is focused on participating together in singing, reading Bible verses, and praying. We often take a few moments to share information about our schedule of events. Our guests are not expected to participate in an offering which is for those who are connected to Gateway. A 6-7 minute break will happen for greeting others, filling up a coffee cup, catching some fresh air or simply relaxing. Pastor Phil Masters or guests speakers will communicate one of God’s timeless truths of the Bible with practical, personal application.
We don’t want to embarrass anyone so we don’t have guests stand or wave a hand. All in attendance are encouraged to complete a Connect Card with some requested information and room for a note or prayer request or even a good joke. Our new guests are not expected to give money in an offering we receive weekly but simply place their Connect Card in the plate, give it to a host team member or place it in a receptacle near the exit doors.
The Christian Living Class meets on Sundays at 9:15 a.m. with the coffee always on and an informal time of interaction and study on various themes and topics throughout the year.

Our Growth Group currently is meeting at Gateway on Wednesday nights at 7 p.m. Our vision is to expand to have more Growth Groups meeting throughout the week and in various locations. This is a time for more in-depth study of the Sunday message and for praying for the needs of those gathered and for requests from Sunday’s Connect Cards.
Children of all ages are welcome at Gateway. We have a nursery for infants and toddlers and their caregivers with audio/visual available throughout the worship gathering. Families are encouraged to worship together and fun activity pages are available for children. At the close of the break in the gathering, preschool aged children through 5th grade are dismissed for Gateway Kids programs with activities and biblical teaching at their level of understanding.
We truly seek to be a friendly group of Christ’s followers. Our break or greeting time is one when people can visit, meet for the first time or refill their coffee cup. Usually on the second Sunday of the month, our “After Gathering” is hosted as a time for connecting with a light lunch of some sweets and healthy options also. The Christian Living class or Midweek Growth Group also offer relaxed times for authentic relationships to be enriched. “Key Women” is a monthly gathering on the second Monday evening hosted at a home. This is a great time for interaction specifically for women.
The monthly Gateway Men’s Breakfast is scheduled for the second Saturday of the month at 9 a.m. hosted at Gateway with a hearty meal provided to us by some of our gracious ladies.
